To Google and Gmail Coders

March 22nd, 2007 @ 8:01:57 PM

Thank you so much for what you do with Gmail. I really love the service. I’m writing this today to tell you how much I like that rotating ad at the top of my inbox. Although you give a $h%load of exposure to Engadget, I want to thank you for rotating in some stuff like this.

I always seem to screw up these two buttons when calculating whatever it is I’m calculating.

PS Don’t change a thing. Good luck with the lawsuit. Have a great summer.

Fruit Juice Companies

May 4th, 2006 @ 7:14:13 PM

ferreter raises a good question about fruit juice manafacturers and juice distributors.
Where are all the grapefruit juice concoctions?

As I walk down the isle of the supermarket I see row upon row of different orange juice concoctions. But I see very few grapefruit selections. I know that grapefruits have less mindshare than oranges but I guarantee that if you offered more selection in the grapefruit juice area, it would sell.

If you have an opinion go comment.

To FOX: Was Arrested Development Strictly Too Expensive?

November 13th, 2005 @ 12:08:05 AM

Was Arrested Development too expensive? The ratings were low, but maybe your audience doesn’t like that type of show. I guess some people don’t get it. The Family Guy didn’t make it and now Arrested Development. That pair is probably two out of the top 5 shows you have ever had on Fox. Props for Prison Break because thats a good show and apparently the ratings are good enough to keep on tv for more than 1 season. Eventually though they gotta break out of prison.

Fox you must also have the best people in the business, because you find and sign some excellent programming. Maybe these employees won’t stick around if they get attached to these shows? The only problem is that you cut your losses to early. Arrested is a fantastic show and now I will cry.

Google, Why Don’t You Marry San Francisco?

October 2nd, 2005 @ 3:57:10 PM

Google and San Francisco sitting in a tree. K I SS I NG. First comes love, then comes marriage, then Wi Fi access all over the Bay Area.

Google, your love for San Francisco is undeniable.

It seems like a nice pro-bono/marketing thing, but why not do this in place where Google is not the most used brand already? Say, California, Missouri, ok I kid, but seriously, how about another joint?

Should Google create a Wi-Fi network in San Francisco or where you live instead?
