This has been a poor start to the season, beaten by arch rivals at the citadel of horror (Ibrox glasgow).

We have lost our manager, the team is in flux and they are struggling to play "The Celtic way".

Some nuggets of gold, i took some colleagues from London to Celtic Park to watch the Celts attempt to overturn the greatest goal defficit in European football history (they were beaten 5 - 0 away to Artmedia Bratislava). The atmosphere in the ground was electric, full house 60,000, screaming the team on and booing every time the Bratislavan's got the ball. The Celts blew them off the park resulting in a 4 - 0 victory - sadly not enough.

Anyway, one of my colleages is a Chinese Australian, not used to football - never been to a game. He shouted so much that he lost his voice for 2 days and is now a Celtic supporter. Brilliant!

Football anyone? :)

Bummer that they couldn't have gotten that 5th. Do you think that Strachan's job is safe?

I saw Man City, Bolton, Everton, and later, Real Madrid play here in Bangkok over the summer.

I can die happy having seen Ronaldo in the flesh. He is simply amazing with the ball.

Strachan's jacket is on a shoogly peg as we say, he is only a couple of defeats away from the door. There is a lot of disquiet amongst the support. Some are calling for his head already but on the whole there is appreciation of the difficulty of the job in hand.

We have signed Shunsuke Nakamura, Japanese creative midfielder, looks like a superstar. We are also after the Chinese International captain - Du Wei, good marketing opportunities in both Japan and China.

The tournament in Bangkok sounds good, Ronaldo is class, powerful player. I remember when Scotland played Brazil in the WC. The best game i have ever witnessed - as the Scots hung in there and played most of the game at 1 - 1 after a superb John Collins (Celtic) penalty.

what a relief, a team, a team again.

the Norge were pish!

We took the ball, played with it, [this is away from home], pressed their "players".. and hey' presto 0 - 1 (Miller) ! Celebration, and then 10 mins later 0 - 2 (Miller) ! Yesssss

Kenny Miller - in this 22yr old player we have a world class striker

They came back to 2 : 1

but the Scots had beaten them in Oslo [in 40 mins]..
