Humans can get Damn big and obese compared to other animals!

Jon Brower Minnoch was the heaviest man in the world. He weighed over 1,400 pounds and it took 13 nurses to pull him over at the hospitol, and a dozen fireman to put him on a oversized stretcher. If you don't know, that is HUGE. And average male human not overweight 167.5 pounds. Now, let say how many normal male human equals Jon's weight. That is more than eight times more than average weight.

Let's now compare that to other animals if they were atleast 8 times average size.

Bull Elephant;
Normal: 16,000 pounds
Enlarged 8 times: 128,000 pounds

I'm sure no ivory poachers would want to mess with an elephant that big!

Lion;
Normal: 500 pounds
Enlarged 8 times: 4,000 pounds

A lions status would change from King of the Jungle to King of the World.

Nile Crocodile;
Normal: 2,000 pounds
Enlarged 8 times:16,000 pounds

I think a hippo would be a more a better light snack than a zebra!

Wolverine;
Normal: 35 pounds
Enlarged by 8: 280 pounds

Imagine a fearless 280 pound wolverine charging at you!

Pitbull;
Normal: 60 pounds
Enlarged by 8: 480 pounds

Being gamebred and that big, you are a World Champion!

Grey Wolf;
Normal: 130 pounds
Enlarged by 8: 1,040 pounds

Being this big, there is just no need for a pack.

Blue Whale;
Normal: 300,000 pounds
Enlarged by 8: 2,400,000 pounds

Why not just call every blue whale a mini planet?

Just goes to show how obese humans can get. Imagine though the animals above weighing that big. We would be living with a world of monsters.

everyone must answer the poll 'yes' because jon was a human being, i.e. an animal.

Non-human animals then for the poll.

We in the UK are also a nation of fatties, apparently.

Weight facism is at an all time high, just like tobacco facism.

The real problem is peoples stressful lifestyles, commuting 2 hours daily, sitting at a PC all day, eating junk, not exercising etc etc. This is the norm for a lot of people. People are just too tired and too stressed to change.

sad story though..

Give fatties a break

Whoops, too late. I already clicked 'yes', because humans are a type of animal, as pp_f correctly pointed out.

first cobra some stupidities here.

the man that you are choosing to use as an example, couldn't move around by himself. i.e.- why the large amount of other people who were needed to move him.
so, that giant elephant of your's, wouldn't be all that hard for the poachers to walk up to and cut off it's tusks.
so show me a enormous animal, bigger than what it's supposed to be and maybe i will answer your poll.

also, and i have a feeling that others are with me, check your typing once in a while.

The elephant might not be able to move as well, but they would be afraid to approach such a beast. I know I would, even if he can't move.

And a elephant that big would be hard to kill. Might need a good bomb.

Captive rabbits will eat as much as they can, and can get too fat to leave their cages. I don't know if this = 8x, but they certainly get obese. Dogs and cats as well. Capons and geese can be stuffed while alive. But then again, these examples all involve human interaction.
