Perhaps the question should be put positively: what if you die, and find out that there is an afterlife?
In this case, we don't need that hypothetical 5 seconds of cnss, which in any case severely hamper any materialist theory of death ...

There is no way our conciousness will just come to end. It doesn't make sense we will just sleep forever, because consciousness has to last forever. All life forms in the universe maybe of one mind, meaning that there probably is just one unifying force or oversoul (or God) and when we die most likelly we will just continue our journey, most likelly reincarnate to some point in the universe. It may not be Earth!
I just can't imagine just dying. Oru conciousness and awareness can't just disappear forever, it doesn't make too much sense to me. |
