I just robbed a bank

of a promotional umbrella. I did! They are called Dresdner RCM Global Investors and I was in one of their old buildings today.

Ok it's a misleading "headline" but I really did.

And it is a really good quality umbrella. Very useful for the UK April showers.

Now here is the topic discussion:

What is the most daring thing you have pinched from an employer?

Regards,

Bit.

Nothing good. Just software. My original Cold Fusion software to train on at home.

Technically I was responsible for the whole project so hey give me the fooking software people or I'll take it.

Nothing, I'm extremely anti-theft when it comes to work, it's not worth your job or reputation. Now, outside of work, I'll "pirate" software, but if I like it I buy it, and if I don't I trash it...so I'm not sure if it's theft or "try before you buy".

I do the same with music, but I don't buy much of it, and honestly rarely even try it anymore unless it's released by private artists or the like. Fuck the RIAA or MPwhatthefuckever....I figure they lost a good 900 dollars a year on me, I used to try before buying and bought several CD's a month until they got their panties in a twist. Now if an artist is owned by a record label that signs on for that crap, I won't even listen to them.

oh - speaking of umbrellas - if you ever need an umbrella, just go to a macdonalds or something like that and tell them you've left behind a black collapsable umbrella. you'll walk out of there with one.

i rob from expensive hotels in London, i just can't get my head around some of their prices [even though i don't pay], and thus feel justified in nicking their shampoo, showercap, moistureiser, towels etc etc... yes, i play my part in inflating the prices

i suppose i should send it to the client who covers the bill?

I did, but it was a very long time ago and i basically gave away coffee and coffee drinks to people in the calculus class which were studying at the cafe I worked at.

That and those paper clasp thingies from offices, those are excellent for keeping potato chip and other bags closed.
